Sharing the overwhelming wonder of the world

Overall, I find that the world is an amazing place and most of my life has been a quest to share my most common thought and feeling - "Wow!" With this in mind, the next few years will be big as I truly wish to show the world through my voice, writing, and music that we can live in a harmonious way and that it is amazingly easy.

So, what do I do? I specialize in being a generalist. It has always felt inappropriate to narrow one self down to doing just one thing, so I didn't. For years, I did stick with one source of income - photography; however, since selling my photo agency I have just kept adding ways of making a living without dropping the old ones.

At this point I have been paid to do photography, program software, play music, design logos and web sites, work on a sailboat, write a magazine column, and teach in various ways. I've done field research on coyotes, am designing a new kind of voting system to ensure that our votes are counted accurately, have a couple of television/radio shows that I'm developing, and... With all the fascinating and great things found in the world I can't imagine being bored.

Outside of work, I've done most of the sports that I know of from sailing, kayaking, and SCUBA to skydiving, bicycle touring and winter camping. A very experienced traveler, I have been to dozens of countries and have no intention of stopping. The world to too beautiful.

Being diverse and busy does not mean hyper as I find few things more appealing than spending time in complete silence in a beautiful monastery or sitting in the deseert and just watching the sky change throughout the day. There could never be too much quiet in the world, although I do adore the sounds of a jungle at night.
